AMPHF - Dual Gi-46B amplifier for sale $1100: Up for sale is an amplifier I converted/built several years ago and have been using since. It started life as a very well built Yokogawa medical amplifier. It uses two cheap Russian Gi-46b triodes in grounded grid. Sockets and cooling fan kit were purchased from KK4NOZ and can be seen on EBay. The only thing reused in this build is the output tank circuit and it was modified. Has K4POZ adjustable bias board with the ability to adjust ZSAC from a pot on back of amplifier. Plate voltage is about 3200vdc using a full wave bridge capacitive input power supply good for 4kvdc…..overkill. Uses the $200 multitech industries bandswitch designed for the Kenwood TL922. Amp works very well on all bands 10-160 and output is about the same as a pair of 3-500z for way less money. I also have a spare set of tubes available also. More pics of inside available upon request. Local pickup only. I will not ship this amp. Built like a tank and extremely heavy.
