The Omnidirectional Electret Microphone Element, measuring 9.65mm (0.38 inches) in diameter and 6mm (0.24 inches) in height, offers a range of impressive specifications. With an impedance of less than 2.2KΩ, this microphone element ensures efficient signal transfer to as low as 500 ohm (element will not drive high impedance). 50Hz to 20kHz frequency range.
Use with 2x 1.5 volt AA or 9 volt batteries. If you cannot switch mic power off, use two AA batteries that will last 10 months. 9 volt lasts 2 months. A .1uF to 1uF capacitor is required and 3.3K resistor for 3 volt batteries or 10K for 9 volt battery. Schematic included.
