Ad Number:767202
Date Placed:09/08/09
Name:Teddy Ramey
Phone Number:931-589-3720
Callsign:W4TSR
Category:AMPHF
Heading:FOR SALE: Loudenboomer HF Amp Update
Ad Message:This is a nice old amp from the early 60's. It still looks good for it's age. You can google it and read all about it. Made by Radio Industries. It has an Eimac 3-500z full output with a chimney and quiet fan. Works 80-40-20-15 and 10 meters. UPDATE I was checking all bands before I sell and when I got to 20 meters it blew a fuse in the power supply. I lost high voltage and replaced the fuse and it was o.k. again on 75 and 40 meters. I haven't tried 20, 15, or 10 since replacing the fuse. For this reason I will sell for 350.00 pickup only. I'm no tech and it might be an easy fix. The power supply has been completly rebuilt and has an Ameritron al-80B transformer. It is wired for 110 but can be changed for 220. It runs 3000 volts on the plate. I also have a manual. This is 2 pieces which are heavy and I will not ship. 450.00. Firm... Call or email if interested. 931-589-3720 Ted Ramey, Linden, Tn. 37096

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
