That and the serial number indicate that it was built late in the first production run. I have read that there are only 100 of these radios still in existence. The main tuning dial glass is M.I.A. Main tuning works flawlessly; band spread tuning has some binding. The radio is located in Baltimore. It weighs 75 lb. The owner of the garage plugged it in and turned it on before I could stop him. AMPHF - Alpha 8410: I have an Alpha 8410 in like new condition with the 4cx1500B tubes. Included is the factory manual with the factory test report and schematics. Embroidered cover is also included. It is like new inside and out. The cathode resistors were recently replaced per Alpha’s spec. Screen voltage and bias have all been verified and 100% operational.
