ANNOUNCE - 2026 Southeast VHF Society Conference: The 2026 Annual Southeast VHF Society Conference
The 2026 SVHFS conference will be held on April 16th -19th in Macon, Georgia. All interested in VHF and above amateur operation are invited to attend. The conference will begin with our Thursday night social at a local establishment. The technical conference begins Friday morning and will include a luncheon with a guest speaker and continue technical presentations in the afternoon. The conference events continue with an evening flea market and hospitality suite. Saturday morning the technical presentations continue and conclude early afternoon when the antenna range and rover display opens. Our conference ends with an in-house banquet including: a guest speaker, our awards, and door prize give away.

RADIOANQ - For Sale: Hallicrafters SR-400A/PS-500A: For sale – Hallicrafters SR-400A transceiver/PS-500a supply. Has been reconditioned and works as it should. New capacitors, diode replacements. Many photos and video of it in operation available if you’re interested. Cabinet has been over-sprayed by a previous owner, but it’s not bad. The radio functions like it’s supposed to, but it is a 60 year old piece of gear, so if you buy it, you’re also buying the ongoing maintenance of it. It is sold AS-IS. No returns, no angry social media posts. It works on my bench.
Price is $600. I prefer not to ship (for the above reason – when it gets broken during shipment, I WON’T provide a refund.) Willing to meet along I-95, I-85, or I-40 in NC/VA.
