FOR SALE: Heathkit SB-220/221: Heathkit SB-221 as updated to 5 band 220 model. I purchased this item from the original owner. It appears that he originally built it with the SB-220 10 meter upgrade kit. It covers 80, 40, 20, 15 & 10 meters. The band knob does go one click further clockwise to a 10 meter position. I further upgraded it with Harbach Capacitor kit, Softkey, Rectifier board, and bumper feet. Also added improved anode caps and parasitic chokes. collins 30L-1 linear: Hello everyone.
This one is a Collins lineal amp. It is unmolested(no mods) although the 811 tubes had been replaced with Svetlana tubes 572B(no more than 5hrs) making it easy in the P/S and they are more forgiving). Power supply still factory original. It loads 700+ watts of power with 80wtts drive. Cosmetically is about 80 percent. I have owned this amplifier for 25+years. Packaging and shipping is doable but it will cost probably a good 100+dollars, or you are welcome to pick up at my Qth in Brandon FL( willing to drive 100 miles from Tampa to meet,.)
