FS Active Receive Antenna: I built this 3 years ago and only used once to dabble with active receive and 160 meters. The active whip and bias-tee transmit/receive switch allows you to use a separate receive antenna on single input radios to combat noise. The switch will need configured for higher power operation if you so desire by soldering PTT 1 or 2. Currently, it’s configured for RF sensing and not external PTT operation. HF Yagi beam or quad wanted in N FL area: Looking for a 10-20m tribander or cubical quad antenna for my Rohn 25G tower. Also need a mounting shelf to fit a rotator like Ham M inside the mast. ( This shelf is smaller than the shelf designed to fit over the top end of a 10 foot section and is held by U-bolts. )
Can dismount your unit from a tower and pick up within say 100 to 150 miles from Elkton FL, close to Saint Augustine and Palatka.
