FOR SALE: entire APRS setup: complete APRS setup for home or mobile. Kenwood TM-271A 2 Meter transceiver, TX 25/60 Watts, RX 136-174 MHz. Still has the protective plastic on display. Memory channels - 200, draws 8A at low power, 13A at high power.
Kantronics KPC3+ TNC. Comes with a manual on "CD", most of which I have printed out and put in a 3-ring binder.
GPS unit is Garmin eTREX Vista with a Data cable. Manual for GPS is data file, not printed out. If operating APRS at home, you don't need the GPS hooked up, of course. The Data cable does not have a "power" lead so you always have to use two AA batteries in the GPS unit.
I am asking $150 for everything and I estimate shipping via USPS to be about $35 plus $4 insurance. I'd like to split the shipping with buyer so total price would be $170. I offer for sale paper rolls for telegraph devices such as T-51, T-63, EXTEL and other manufacturers. Rolls made in Finland with very long storage (about 33 years) in a dry heated room, were used in the radio center of the Black Sea Shipping Company, when telegraph devices were still used to communicate with ships, NEW condition for a museum or private collection in order to be nostalgic about the time when they were used and we were young. This is the remainder after being used on my radio station UT5RP and the collective radio station of the Shipping Company UB4FXT, first on the telegraph apparatus T-51, T-63, then EXTEL when my radio station was the only one in the entire USSR in RTTY modulation from 1978 to 1982. There are eight rolls left. I have tested it on 70cm, but do not have DMR capability on 2 meters to test that band. These are rock solid and perform better than the cheap mmdvm hats I had been using.
