HALLICRAFTERS HT-44 FOR SALE: I'm selling my Hallicrafters HT-44 because I am downsizing to Drake equipment. I'm getting to old to manhandle the bigger boat anchors!
This transmitter lights up - all filaments -but has no output. All the tubes are there but??? Asking $200 plus shipping. Pick it up and save that. Otherwise about 80 to 90 dollars. KWM-2(A)and 32S series transmitter get lot of heat problems. I have a solution to keep the LV to exactly 275V either transmit or receive mode.Using 500V MOSFET and series of Zener regulators,LV is now tightly regulated which helps keep the VFO with no drift and no audio hum as it works as ripple filter.The board is 22mm x 30 mm by size, made with SMD components and can be fit to the sidewall of power supply.
