W9IIX Gin Pole head and clamps (no pipe): Vintage W9IIX Heavy Duty Gin Pole Head and Clamps
Up for sale is a classic, heavy-duty W9IIX (IIX Equipment Ltd.) gin pole head and two tower clamps. If you know tower gear, you know these are legendary for being incredibly rugged, over-engineered all-steel units that are virtually indestructible compared to modern lightweight alternatives. Designed for rigging Rohn BX/HBX/HDBX lattice towers.
Included in the sale:
•Original heavy-duty W9IIX open-face steel tower clamping brackets (2).
•Heavy steel head assembly with an intact, smooth-rolling pulley.
Pole Not Included:
You will need to locally source a 10-12 ft section of 2"od x 1-1/2"id pipe for the pole. I used galvanized water pipe. T6-6061 aluminum also works.
Good, solid condition. Shows typical signs of use but is 100% structurally sound and ready to go back to work on a tower project.

For Sale: LOTS of R25 tower sections: I haven't counted but many R25 sections available. I'd guess over 200'. A few sections have very light surface rust. Not needed so pricing at below typical price.

ROHN 25G, 49’ TILT OVER TOWER, on LI NY: Have 49’ ROHN 25G tower sold new as ‘ROHN 25G FOLD-OVER Tower’. It is a normal Rohn 25G tower. It consists of 9’ top section, 3-10’ ‘mid’ sections, & 1-7’ + 1-3’ which are part of the ‘FOLD-OVER’ mechanism, + 2 other ‘pivot’ brackets, a solid mount triangular base (not tilt, for concrete). Also have homemade tilt base based on ROHN’s own tilt base not included but available, & a ‘boat winch’ style crank that is used with the ‘fold-over’ process. I do have a copy of the ‘fold-over tower’ instruction manual. Could be used as ‘fold-over’, ‘tilt-base’ or as i did, a 23’ AND 27’ tower both on tilt bases.
I’m asking $350 for ‘fold-over tower’ package ONLY, or possible trade/partial trade for amateur or CB equipt, accessories, radio, antennas. A homemade TILT BASE & a CD45(???) rotator NOT INCLUDED but are available. Remember CASH IS KING.

40’ FREESTANDING ALUMINUM TOWER, LI, NY: UNIVERSAL TOWERS 40’ FREESTANDING ALUMINUM TOWER
Its one of those THX or THBX series towers, i cant remember the letters. At one time I had CUSHCRAFT A4S on it (for sale under HF Antennas), so its good for at least that size antenna.
It is 5-8 foot sections that size down as it gets taller, total 40’. It is designed to tilt over, one of the lower brackets is missing, i had one ‘bent’ by local ‘iron works company’ and proceeded to lose it a 2nd time. Otherwise this is a good, heavy duty, lightweight aluminum tower.
It is on Long Island NY, local pick up only, I MAY be able to deliver locally. The sections ‘nest’ neatly inside each other so it will fit in any size pickup truck, even a full size SUV.
I am asking $300, though may be open to trade/partial trade for amateur or even CB equipt, accessories, radio, antenna. FOR SALE: Rohn 45G 100' Tower: 100' Rohn 45G tower for sale in Grants Pass, OR. 9 standard 10' sections, one 5' shorty base for concrete, one AG2 9.5' top section, 2.08" ID, 2.625 OD. One section has some surface corrosion , does not affect strength. Tower is down and stacked ready for you to pick up. Shipping would be totally outrageous. Pickup in Grants Pass, all would fit into a 12' trailer with no overhang. No hardware, but that is readily available on-line. Second top section is the 45AG3 which is 9' OD 2", ID 1.625 and could be substituted if you wish. I simply changed my plans and won't be erecting this great tower.
