Date Placed:04/23/24

Category:RADIOVHF
Heading:Motorola MCS2000 VHF Model 2 110 Watts
Ad Message:**MORE PICTURES AVAILABLE! EMAIL ME!**
For sale is a Motorola MCS-2000 VHF high power (110w) radio, complete and ready for your use! This can be programmed for up to 160 channels. It is a Flashport Model II, model number M01KLM9PW6AN
Included is the radio body/deck, the head, remote cable for the head, head mounting bracket, deck mounting bracket, power cable, microphone, speaker and USB programming cable. Everything is in excellent condition. I was using it in the shack but decided to go other directions so it's collecting dust. Works great! I bought it from Sunny Communications, who specializes in older Motorola radios. It was checked out on their equipment and determined to be 100% functioning as per specifications. Although this model says "146 mhz" as the bottom frequency, it can be programmed below that.
Local pickup or I will consider shipping, but keep in mind that the shipping will be expensive. Asking $275 local pickup.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
