Ad Message:	Alpha 78 Linear 1 KW output Power Amp An oldie but goodie. 3 each 8874s in grounded grid configuration rated at 1 KW continuous output from 160M to 10M and useable on 30M and 17M. (10M mod has been installed.) This amplifier can be manually tuned on all bands. It features a NO-TUNE-UP feature on 80 thru 15M making band changing easy and quick. This amp is in excellent condition both electrically and physically. A few minor dings and scratches as to be expected due to the radios age. This unit is wired for 240VAC. Original Operating and Technical Manual included. No box. The beast weighs in at 62 lbs. Not easy to man-handle, so I will not ship this baby. You can come by the shack and test it on the air. I am located near Scottsboro, AL, or I can bring it with me to the Huntsville Hamfest on 16-17 August 2025. $1200 cash.

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
