Ad Number:1764338
Date Placed:04/07/26
Name:Mike Borden
Phone Number:757-343-1201
Callsign:KO4YAO
Category:AMPHF
Heading:Dentron Clipperton QRO amplifier $700
Ad Message:We have a Dentron Clipperton QRO amplifier for sale today. It has full output and covers 160-10M with 4x 572B tubes. Currently wired for 120VAC, but can be switched to 240VAC, if so desired. The breaker for the outlet is the limiting factor. On a 120V outlet, you can see upwards of 900W on a 20A breaker. On my test bench with a 30A breaker, output was roughly 1240W into a dummy load. It’s a small footprint desktop amp with a 3 second warm up time, tunes easily and has a tuned input for each band built in. A very nice amp that is very simple but effective. Currently do not want to ship the amp, but willing to drive to meet if needed. I’m asking $700 or best offer for this amp. Can test at my QTH if you’d like. Only selling to make room as I have an Alpha 77Dx two tuber I use as a daily. Any questions or concerns, feel free to email, call or text me at 757-343-120 (one).
73,
Mike KO4YAO

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
