Ad Message:	I listed a WTB add for a Collins filter. What I got back were several offers OUTSIDE of QTH trying to sell me the filter that I was looking for. All of the sellers have the SAME email format which is first/last/call sign at gmail.com. QRZ does not have an email listed for the call sign they are using. When I ask for conversations be through the QTH mail system they ask why and refuse. They want payment only through electronic methods such as PayPal. They refuse Postal Money Order. I ask to send payment to a US mail address and they refuse. I ask for a telephone number and they say they don't have one. I did contact two of the hams who's call signs were being used and they both said they did NOT send me an email offer. So the short warning is make sure that you can veriry the person before you send money. Beware!

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
