- ANTHF - SteppIR controller 100.00 plus shipping
- My personal SteppIR controller started to get noisy on the ham bands. (like a noise harmonic) I saw this controller on eBay for 100.00. It seemed to work but it was also noisy. Same as mine. There was a guy on QTH that said he could fix SteppIR controllers. I sent him my controller, and I was going to send him this one. My controller got fixed but I never sent him this one. I can give you his name and number if you wish. He said he replaced the three capacitors and made some sort of an RF shield. This box is stock, no modifications. Asking 100.00 plus shipping. I had the antenna on 15 meters and sent it to 17 meters with this controller. SWR was good and it seemed to track OK. I'm selling it for parts because it never got a thorough checkout. - Purchased meter from him, received it broken due poor packaging. Sent pictures of broken meter with box problem. Still not provided refund as says out-of-his-pocket and will not do anything until he is paid by USPS. Ludicrous since it is out of my pocket and his problem is with USPS and not mine. He wanted the meter back at USPS request - hard to believe. Sent back, received a payment for shipping only labeled full refund, Claims negation (never heard of) with no contract where it is clearly still an argument between him and USPS. This is Fraud and theft. Bank said do not accept payment as they looked over paperwork and would consider this to be Fraud and Theft. He has mixed up requirements of seller to buyer with seller and USPS as these are both completely separate. Any business will either replace or refund for broken item.Do not deal with this individual due to problems he causes requesting refund. This is Fraud and Theft.
