Homebrew 150 Watt Antenna Tuner For Sale:

This antenna tuner is a homebrew unit
that appears to be well made.
Very heavy duty.

It has a roller inductor that is fairly
heavy duty. But the capacitors are regular
receiving capacitors, limiting its power
handling capabilities. If you have a normal
100 Watt exciter, there is no problem. If
you use a linear amplifier, this tuner is
not for you.

The tuner has adjustments on the front for
the two capacitors, and for the roller
inductor. It also has a switch that permits
switching capacitors in to the circuit.
The back has a switch to bypass the tuner,
plus SO-239 connectors, in and out.

1800 uf, 450 V DC Caps. They are high quality
CDE, and they are new.

for a really heavy duty power supply for a
linear amp. Putting all eight in series would
give 3600 Volts with 225 uf capacitance.

These caps have screw terminals and are 3
inches in diameter and just over 6 inches high.

- FS: WARC Band Vertical Antenna
A custom-made 17M / 12M Vertical antenna manufactured by Zero-Five Vertical Antennas. Built with .058” tubing, this vertical is solid & substantial. The 17M vertical is 14 FT in length allowing for tuning to the frequency most desired, and the 12/M is 10 FT. The two verticals are mounted upon a common SO239 with a fold-over base, making setup & tuning easy. No tuner is required on either band. The SWR is 1:1.5 or below. I use a pair of raised radials per band. The design schematic and a pic are attached. I will sell for $550 & share shipping.
