- This is a beautiful amplifier—very easy to use, simple to tune, and it just gets the job done. It serves as my backup to an Ameritron AL-1500 and a Ten-Tec 422 Centurion. I picked it up a few years ago when my AL-1500 went in for service, bought it from a friend who never used it. I’d estimate it has no more than about five hours of total operating time.
