- From Buddiepole, The POWERmini 2™ is described as a DC Power Management System, but what is that?
Most Amateur Radio gear is designed to be operated directly from a 12V DC power source. For a radio with 100W output that amounts to an input current around 25A. That provides a lot of convenience for mobile and portable applications but operation is not quite as simple as plugging into a wall outlet. Batteries require attention to maximize their life and solar panels need to be managed to prevent overcharging.
From the charging perspective a dedicated solar panel input allows connection of a solar panel with up to 11A of current to charge the system battery.
I purchased this to put in a battery box, but never did build the box. Asking $150 plus shipping via USPS or UPS from 83404. Payment via Venmo or Paypal.

- SN 17256: Collins 75S-3B in good to very good condition. Asking $750, buyer pays shipping, discounted $50 if you come by Gatesville, TX and pick it up. Owned it for decades, rarely used it. Turned it on today and heard signals with only a six foot length of wire antenna. All controls and functions in working order. Full standard set of crystals plus 2.1 kHz and 500 Hz mechanical filters. Power cable is included. Radio could use a bit of dust-off and cleaning but I will leave that up to the next owner. Some rotary switch sections might like to have a shot of Deoxit to quiet them down. Aside from that I believe the radio still works as well as it ever did. No indications above or below deck to suggest that anyone who did not know what they were doing was ever in there with a soldering iron.
