- I inherited a family members VERY CLEAN Heathkit SB220.
I undertook a total upgrade to bring it up to current specs.
It includes the newly installed SB220 Harbach Master kit
HARBACH FB220 filter caps and bleeder resistor board
HARBACH RM220 metering board
HARBACH FM220 fan
HARBACH Parasitic suppressors
HARBACH Ohmite glitch resistor
HARBACH 220 axial electrolytic cap
HARBACH BRK-220 circuit breakers and RF bypass caps
HARBACH New meter lamps
HARBACH Soft Key kit SK220
HARBACH Soft Start SS-221-240 kit for 240v (included but NOT INSTALLED) as this version is specific for 240v)
If you decide to wire it for 110v, Harbach sells the 120v version
HARBACH Doorknob cap
HARBACH SO239 input and output coax connectors
Bias mod wired
Grounded the 3-500z grids
New rubber feet (white)
I have tested it and it shows 1300w pep output on high voltage SSB
And over 1000w cw low voltage keydown

- This is a clean and very fast laptop. It does have two issues. The left side USB port is non-functional and the internal camera does not work. It has passed extensive Dell diagnostics otherwise and is an excellent operating computer. Installed programs include Windows 11 Pro, Windows Antivirus, Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 (Word, Excel, etc.) No old files, no passwords, cosmetics are consistent with normal use and no issues other than those mentioned.
