The RF probe converts the RF signal to DC, which is then read on the VTVM. With the RF probe it is possible to read frequencies well above 100 MHz. - This probe is well shielded so that RF does not leak into the probe. - I have two available. Both work fine and look fine as well. One has a 1/4 inch plug, and the other has an Amphenol mic connector with the single center "button".
