FS Acom 2000A: Selling my Acom 2000A with spare set of 4CX800 tubes.
I purchased it new from Array Solutions. It is in excellent condition, I have not used it very much, it IS the quietest amp I have ever used in over 60 years of hamming. I added the muffin fan too and it did not add any noise. It puts out full power plus. Local sale and pickup only. Located in the Minneapolis St.Paul metro area.

HENRY 8K PLATE TRANSFORMER: Henry 8K plate transformer. part # Magnaspec 150400. Its a HV beast at 125 lbs so no shipping unless you pay for shipping and pay $50 to build the small crate to successfully ship this monster. Im well versed in shipping transformers and "heavy iron" but I'd rather not.....hence the $50. Unit is dusty but absolutely functional.
Transformer is 5800V at 2A ratings being conservative.

I will throw in the Ameritron AL-811 Soft Key with cables and external standby switch. This was serviced by Scott The amprepairguy.com within the last 3 years along with new Penta Labs Tubes. The face has been replaced with a new black one and the knobs are black as well. The amplifier works perfectly and is in excess to my needs, this has sat on my shelf for a little over a year. FS: Alpha Amp for a Repair Guy: I have an Alpha 76A with three full output EIMAC 8874s in it. I believe there is a problem with the filament voltage getting to the tubes. Other than that, there are no known problems. It has been out of service for a while but when in use I usually ran 1200 watts out on 80 and 160. I didn't push it any further. If you're up for a project, this may be an easy fix. I just don't have the time or place to work on this nor the desire anymore to do so. I'm open to reasonable offers for this amp. It would be pickup or meet within about 90 miles of my QTH near Fredericksburg, VA. If you know what 8874s go for, then you have a good idea of a reasonable price for this amp.
