For Sale: Collins 32S-3 Transmitter: For Sale: Collins 32S-3 Transmitter WE (No Power Supply). I this nice transmitter through an estate and unfortunately there was no power supply present. You will need a 516F-2 or equivalent power supply to use this transmitter. I borrowed a power supply from a friend to do some basic testing. The transmitter seems to work fine with the basic testing performed. It has expected output of 100 to 135 watts on all bands. I measured this into a dummy load with a Bird Wattmeter. Connecting a microphone showed expected modulation and it sounded fine in a local RX. It appears to be neutralized ok. It has not been restored so keep that in mind. This unit has 5 Skytec solid state tubes installed which are quite desirable. Again, no power supply and also no microphone. Price is $495 including shipping to anywhere in the 48 states.
