Heathkit HW-101: I have a Heathkit HW-101 that came out of a long, thorough restoration. Like many others this one showed up in shambles and sat dormant for many decades. I gave it a good cleaning and sink scrub, removed and tested all tubes, cleaned all pins/sockets, and replaced any that tested bad. Replaced finals with a new set of 6146’s. Checked and replaced any substantially high resistors as required. Re-capped all electrolytic caps, replaced balanced modulator diodes with new Schottky diodes. Replaced 11pin connector with good used one due to center post being broken on old one, Removed old RCA antenna connector and installed new 239 connector. Installed new belts and final drive coupler. Cleaned all band switches/pots, burnished relay contacts and lubed all bearings and controls.Removed and reworked VFO. Stripped and repainted cabinet with matching Heathkit paint and reassembled with new hardware. FOR SALE: Astatic D-104 T-UG8: I've owned this old D-104 desk microphone for years but now it's time to let it go to a new home. It's in pretty good condition but it does show it's age. The chrome plating is in excellent condition - no chips or peeling and the hammer tone base has some chips in the paint, but nothing major or serious. The Astatic label on the base is in excellent condition, the printing is perfectly legible. The cord has stiffened a bit with age but otherwise is in very good condition.
