For Sale: IFR FM/AM-1000S Manual: Hard to find Operation and Maintenance Manual for an IFR FM/AM-1000S Service Monitor.
Manual appears to be complete with operating instructions, schematics, and includes additional instructions for “Using FM/AM-1000S as a Sweep Generator/Tracking Oscilloscope” and “Installation and Tuning Instructions” for Sinclair’s Q-Circuit Res-Lock Duplexers”.
I used the FM/AM-1000S for many years until the power supply went up in smoke and I wound up selling it for parts. Buyer wanted it for display only and didn’t care about the manual.

F/S BIRD 150 WATT DUMMY LOAD: I have available a BIRD Dummy Load, model 8166. This is the same as the 8165 except there are a few tapped holes on the bottom for mounting the load to a chassis. It is rated to handle 150 watts, and it is specified to work from DC to 2.5 GHz. Physically, there are a number of spots where the black finish is rubbed off or scratched off, but that does not affect the load. Currently there is a BNC female connector on the load, but since this is a BIRD Quick Change connector, it is easy to change to an UHF female or N female if you would prefer - - let me know and I can change it for you.
